We can save most of your data from TIMS if you decide to stop paying the quarterly fee and can no longer access your data.]

Does does your software reside on my computer?

 

Yes. When you license our program, you install it on your computer, or on your network server, depending on your. needs. You retain full control over the software.

If the need ever arises to stop using HearForm, you can easily export all your data to an excel spreadsheet or other file format to quickly import all that data into a new system. We do not make it difficult for you if you ever want to leave. (Not that we think you will ever want to...)

ELECTRONIC CLAIMS

Our competitors were faced with the same challenge that we faced. How do we allow our customers to process claims automatically and yet allow them flexibility and still keep our software affordable?

Most of our competitors chose WebMD as the clearinghouse of choice. That's not a bad choice, as WebMD is the most popular clearinghouse in the US. HearForm goes a step further, by allowing you to choose the clearinghouse of your choice. We have partnered with http://www.enshealth.com and http://www.ezclaim.com , HIPAA compliant solutions, for your Electronic Billing needs.

 

Does HearForm Link with NOAH3

 

Because of Noah's present stability problems, we are waiting for Noah's next major revision before linking our system with theirs. Our competitors struggle with HIMSA issues and we do not want to subject our customers to those problems.

An Audiologist in Texas summed it up this way. (Actual comments)

"I went with **** (a competitor) because they advertise they are NOAH certified. I wanted to have all the software integrated in my office. Unfortunately, while **** was connected to NOAH, the connection caused **** to crash many times a day, costing me time and grief. I cannot run my practice like that.  I switched to HearForm, even though they are not integrated with Noah. I have not be disappointed. It only takes me a moment to enter the patient name, birth date and audiogram in NOAH and because they are separate, my office management software remains stable and reliable. I have 5,000 patient records in my current OMS program. Can I transfer the patients' Data into HearForm?

 

If you are able to export your patient demographics into a text or database file, we can include your patient data. We would charge an additional $200-$500 for this service depending on how difficult it is. In most cases we can import the majority of your data. We will let you know if you call us first. Some competitive software allows you to export your data easily. (HearForm exports with the click of one button.) It is best to call us with your particular situation. We have made many upgrades where ALL of the data was saved and transferred into the friendly format environment of HearForm.

Each system is different. It is common that the financial data from one database CANNOT be accurately converted into another database. While we can save the vast majority of your data (Names, addresses, telephone, manufacturer, make model, serial, warranty dates, etc..., it is likely that we cannot retrieve your account receivables. Customers typically print out their balance due invoices and take a short time to renter those into HearForm's invoicing system.

We can save chart notes from most all conversions.

It's actually kind of fun to do conversions for our customers, because as soon as you open up HearForm for the first time, you have hundreds (or thousands) of your own patients already in the new database. You can then report on the data using HearForm's included reports.

(If we convert your existing patient data, we will send you a signed 4 page HIPAA Business Associate Agreement, protecting the privacy and security of your patients. If you prefer not to send us your data, we can perform the conversion right on your computer. This way the data never leaves your office. We use www.logmein.com to access your desktop, with your permission)
